Hey, Larry asked me to spread the word he has cabbage plants for sale at a nominal 1 euro per dozen. The varieties are as follows. Wintergreen, Myatts Offenham, Tundra, and Spring Hero. They are all for planting now and will be ready for eating in early march. The contact for the plants is John Murphy Rathcormac (near Fermoy) 025-36422

Hi Rose-Anne, you could stick a note (in notes section) on the main page of food web too to reach more people - not everyone uses the groups, good luck with it,
Alice

that would be great, i'll get something to you today, can you pass on you email address?
IrishAllotments.net Comment by IrishAllotments.net on September 1, 2009 at 1:10pm
Possibly, I guess it is just a matter of advertising it so that a sufficient amount of people know about it. If you want to put a post up on Irish Allotments just let me know, would be more than happy to do that.

its going to run from 10am to 2pm, could it work if we just had an open stall for allotments to bring along their produce and sell as they go along?

What times are you thinking of?? Have you contacted the allotments in Blarney and the Mahon Point (Richard Corrigan City Farm) Allotments? I would say those are the two most likely to have enough outgoing produce to have a stall.

I'm starting a weekly market in Douglas from the 11th of September (each friday) and it would be great to have an allotment stall there, if anyone is interested contact me at roseanne@goldiefish.ie
