I haven't got a clue what is going on with the spuds but I thought I'd start the discussion anyway. Will try to get John to sign up and comment.

Please get a copy of today's Irish Independent.
There's a great article about Bantry CSA - and CSAs in general - with some nice pics.
But if you can't get a copy, you can still read all about it on-line HERE

Hi Caz,

I've changed the format a bit, so give it another try.

Hi Caz,
They are MP4 files. Pretty standard stuff really.
I'll see if there's another way of doing it.

Hi, I'm intrigued, but unfortunately it says " Aditional plugins are required to display all the media" on my computer. Not being very technically minded I may or may not get to have a listen!! I'll try when I'm at another..........

OK you guys ..... get your ears on for some music.

Not the usual topic for a CSA site, but visit our web site and click on 'Music' to play along with some backing tracks.

Air Guitars are allowed.

Hi guys,
Well done to you for the website and keeping on the case with latest developments. Johns' CSA slot in the progamme for the Local Food Production Day is for between 11and 1145am, so hopefully as many as possible who are involved in the Bamtry schemes will be there as we share discussion following Johns' report. Probably that discussion forum should be more for members of the public interested in the scheme, and those of us already involved could have a progress discussion over lunch. Must get the Ballydehob Food group and info. about the event to Ron now to be added to the website. Hey good idea to put our forum up onto the Cork food Web so as others can find out more as we experiment!!

I had news yesterday (Thursday 17th) that Charmaine Brosnan of the West Cork Development Partnership is writing an article for the Southern Star.
The article will be about the Bantry CSA and Ballydehob food group, so look out for fame and fortune coming our way.

Charmaine has interviewed Caz Jefferys and will hopefully use some of our pictures of our harvesting efforts.

This is all good news as CSA generally and our Bantry group in particular can do with a wider audience and greater participation.

I've put this on our web site news page.
