garlics make seed?

. . . well, the novice that I have been and am, at growing, plants, (my first child was already two years old when I first, knowingly, held a . . . 'seed' in my hand - a pansy - so I've only been at it for the later twenty years of my life) and the naive-ness with which I approach growing, means that I refuse to accept that there is any plant that does not produce seed and, additionally, I am seed / pip passionate.

So, I discover, contrary to so much else of popular opinion and, the advertising of 'true' garlic seed where, in fact, it is cloves that are being purveyed, that garlic can, and does, make true seed!  Of course.

And then, slowly beginning to build the picture for myself, from research, of the reality of the depreciation garlic globally - the generic then, is commonly retailed in the supermarkets, despite the wide variety of garlic species actually occurring . . ..!

Well it's all a wonderland that has recently, suddenly opened up to me.

I've been surfing to find anywhere, anyone, who sells true garlic seed, globally, haven't come across that but have come across the exorbitant import duty on garlic and some encouraging articles by people who are applying themselves to producing true garlic seed.

I have bookmarked to come back here and upload some links.  I hope to get to this is the near future.
