GIY networks aim to take the ‘self’ out of ‘self- sufficiency’by getting back-garden growers together on a regular basis to talk, learn from each other and exchange tips, produce and war-stories!

- I have computer skills, designing web site, or print, and making illustrations.
and I'm a great listener, and would love to swap empathic listening session.
I also can make puppets and puppet shows and generally love working with children.

At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally least of all, ourselves. For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt.
The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves!
Banish the word struggle from your attitude and vocabulary.
All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.
We are the ones we've been waiting for."

I work as a Community Development Worker and I am working with a group that is focusing on Community Participation and Representation in Cork City. We would like to establish a website/ on- line forum just like the Cork Food Web but for the Community &Voluntary Sector groups with a social inclusion focus.
We would like if someone with this knowledge could help our two volunteers develop such a site. Do you know of anyone that could help us? I am sorry my post has not much to do with food!

eimz said… - hey! great news for you two!! how exciting :D....im looking forward to the obligatory house warming party already ;) thanks also for letting me know of the house...very good of you but thankfully i just found a place over the wkend with a really cool italian and german girl..its feels really cosy and homely and they love to cook and bake and eat together and generally it feels like a little family so i hope it works out.(its also cheap too!) so im moving in early october..ive got 2 weeks left in my old place then.. im off to Iceland for a 3 week workcamp! im so completely and unbelievably excited its not funny :D well best of luck with the moving house and the new beginnings, see you soon! xoxo
